I can see the darkness arise from the places that it has not before.
The lives we seek to have are not those that will exist forever.
What we know, who we are. What I am.
We are all just specs of sand in an hourglass,
Flowing slowly as time goes marching on and on.
I have seen death, yet I’ve seen life.
I felt the death quickening, I saw the life be born.
The death marks a change, but new life does the same.
I can see the end of the puzzle,
The end of the floating pieces of the building,
Once lived in, but forgotten with time,
Destroyed by an endless war.
I have not yet broken,
I can see the edge of the truth,
The flame that is in you.
I do not see the good,
That is within me,
Am I death?
