Oh, I wish that you could see. The lightened side of me, There’s no push or pull in conflict, Laying in my wake. I’m lost at my mistakes, The path seems to open and close, Every other day. I walk with peace of mind, I see you over there, The mystery of my mind it despairs. I wake up to heristocracy, The world is crying out, I open my eyes to see. I am all but one, Person who can sense the truth, A lie told. If you tell a lie, Then surely I will know, That I am not alone. I have withstood the tests of time, Repaired the fragmentation of my mind, Now I stand here questioning what is next. I knew what was to come, For so very very long, Now that it is gone what am I to do? I am a person of strong mind and will, I am a brick wall for those to see, I am the only one who knows that they’re truly alone. I’ve seen my life end, In one hundred different ways, Yet I still believe I can be more than the others of me. One was a patriot standing strong and firm, His life was at an end in the deserts of the East. His legacy and life were gone as fast as a thought. Another was a homeowner and businessman, He stood proud and diligent in the face of terror, Saving a newborn abandoned atop a roof during the midst of a citywide attack only to be shot in the head not a moment later. The third was a wanderer standing calmly and tall, He wrote about his experiences as he traversed the world, Taking pictures and recording he saw the truth, Stranded atop Everest nothing he could do. The fourth was me as I am today, Thoughtful yet caring a life not yet lost, Hearing others first was his specialty. Thinking so much about the others, experiencing each of their lives and deaths, Compassion abound, he waits for the one. Thinking about all the others whom died so young, The first was 28, the second 25, and the third was his age 30. Out of the three two found love, and one had children. Is he to rise where the others fail, Living a long life full of vigor, calm and true, Only time shall convey the future of himself, He stands strong and true ready for action, Without the fear of losing himself in the haze of distraction.
